Pine Healing Salve

The healing powers of pine as been well known for ages. This salve packs a two way punch. For skin care, the amount of vitamin C for pine is pound for pound more than any citrus fruit. Vitamin C is good for acne, wrinkles, dark spots, sun damage and brings a glow to the skin. Is it also very healing for the skin. When i sustain an injury while foraging, I find the nearest pine tree. The resin or rosen of all pines acts as a wound sealant similar to liquid bandage. Pine is a natural skin protection. For the healers of native tribes, they would use resin spread on birch bark as a bandage to help the healing proccess. This is made from pine resin, bark and pine needles.
